About The Role
The Cambridgeshire Fens is one of the UK’s most important wetland landscapes – what we call a Waterscape. WWT already plays a significant role in this Waterscape, through the management of WWT Welney and our work to recover the black-tailed godwit, and together with our conservation partners we aspire to make it bigger, better and more connected for the benefit of wetland wildlife.
We want to expand our portfolio of landscape-scale wetland recovery projects and are therefore looking for a Project Manager with technical skills and experience in wetland habitat design and delivery to develop and progress some of these opportunities. Initially, our Project Manager will lead on Great Ouse Blue Connections, our bold and exciting project which aims to create and restore wetlands across the Great Ouse Lower catchment. During the first phase of the project, we will work with landholders, environmental and community groups to develop a wetland vision and creation plan for selected waterbodies within the catchment.

This position is home-based within 25 miles of Huntingdon/St Neots, as regular travel will be required within the Great Ouse Lower catchment.
