Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, on behalf of the new Fens East Peat Partnership (FEPP), which sits within the broader Fens for the Future network, is seeking people with entrepreneurial spirit to identify and seize opportunities for large scale nature recovery across 20 different areas of peatlands within the Natural Character Area of the Fens (NCA46).
The posts will be working with the FEPP delivery organisations of: Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, National Trust, Natural England, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire. Four posts are waiting to be filled. The Project Manager and Project Assistant will cover the whole area, whereas the two Project Officers will be geographically split as Fens North (Lincolnshire & Norfolk) and Fens South (Cambridgeshire & Suffolk). Through this initial Discovery Grant, we will be developing the evidence to apply for a full Restoration Grant in 2023.
